    A beginner level course to learn how to decorate cakes with buttercream. You take your cake home with you. 

    What you’ll learn

    This workshop focuses on the basics of buttercream cake decorating — from understanding buttercream and getting the right piping consistency to using pastry bags, adding color, and optionally decorating with flowers. You’ll leave with your own gluten-free decorated cake, a printed piping guide, a buttercream recipe, and new hands-on skills to continue practicing at home.

    Who can attend

    Perfect for adults and teens with little to no cake decorating experience. Whether you’re curious about baking, love eating cake, or want to explore edible sculpture, you’re welcome. More experienced bakers looking to improve their piping skills are welcome too.

    Who is teaching it:

    Fiamma Aleotti is a baker and pastry chef with nearly 10 years of experience. She studied pastry at ALMA - The School of Italian Culinary Arts in Italy and founded her home bakery, Pastel, in Costa Rica in 2016, where she also taught baking workshops. In 2018, she moved to Berlin to begin a new chapter.
